PETITION SIGNATURES FOR INDEPENDENT CANDIDACY

Because Toby Troutman is running as an independent certificate, Arkansas Law requires that a certain number of verified voter signatures be collected for his name to appear on the ballot. We are currently accepting signatures from registered voters across Lonoke County to give voters another choice.

Signing the petition is not a vote for Toby Troutman. It simply allows his name to be placed on the ballot so voters can decide in November who they want to support.

Unique Approach: Paving His Own Way

"Over the course of this election process, there has been considerable rhetoric among my opponents regarding campaign contributions. Specifically, the money they have received from Political Action Committees and special interest groups.

Several weeks ago, I made the decision that I will not accept any campaign contributions from anyone - period.

I am fully funding my own campaign. Win or lose, I am committed to investing whatever it takes to earn the opportunity to serve as your County Judge of Lonoke County.
When I take office, I will not owe favors or obligations to anyone - not to PACs, not to special interest groups, and not to political parties.
I am running as an Independent because I believe the people of Lonoke County deserve leadership that answers only to them.

I will fund my campaign with my own resources, and I will conduct it the right way — the same way I will run the office of County Judge: The right way with honesty, integrity, and intelligence."
